It is highly recommended to use it as your primary graphics card. If you don't want your graphics card overheating you can use a separate video card for the shader. I have tested it on ati radeon X1950gt and nvidia GeForce 9800gtx, both version 1 and 2 of crysis 3. I have tested with DX9, DX10 and DX11 OSs and it will not work on DX11 OS, you will have to get the DX10.1 version for this mod to work.
Compatibility issues are that it should work with DX9 versions of Crysis 3 but it is highly recommended to use DX10. It should also work great with DX9 OS's, however it is just as much recommended to use DX10.1 as well..
This mod unlocks the DX10 graphics features such as anti-aliasing, motion blur, bloom, anisotropic filtering and FXAA for all graphics cards, in DirectX 10 and capable of running DX9.(no 11!) (easily compatible with windows 7) You need to be running windows xp or windows 7, a DX9 OS and a DX10 graphics card such as ati radeon X1950gt or nvidia GeForce 9800gtxpi)
THIS DOES NOT WORK WITH ANY OTHER VERSION OF CRYSIS THAN 1.1!! you heard right, this mini-mod unlocks all dx10 graphical features even if you have DX9 Hardware (ati 1950, nvidia 7900...) and an DX9 OS (windows xp...). All you have to do is SWITCH EVERY OPTION IN THE ADVANCED GRAPHICS MENU TO HIGH! Thats all!
I think that most of the PC-Users have always used the \"No Cache\" mode in Crysis 1 and its sequel. My first testing was with the standard cache save-game settings. It worked! I got some clarity but it was a bit zoomed and distorted. You can find the official description here http://www.cryengine.com/articles/en/2011/12/nocache-persistent.html this is the official description btw. 7211a4ac4a
